For the fifth time I think

I do not really know what is wrong with my internet provider.  They have been cutting-off my internet connection even if I have already paid my bills.  Just last week they cut off my connection again.  This is for the fifth time.  I am really angry because I wont be able to do my online stuffs.  My niece has research assignment and she can’t do it because I do not have internet connection.  I am really confused because I already paid my internet connection and they sent me message that they have to cut off their service because I have unpaid bill.

I do not have internet connection for three days.  I am so busy at home and taking care of my nephews.  I do not have time yet to go to my internet provider and settle the issue of my connection.  I am so worried if I have writing jobs.  I went to my internet provider after three days and asked them what is wrong.  I asked them to check my account and my bill.  They said it is alright.  They just told me to contact costumer service.  And because I am so angry I yelled at the attendant.  And she told me she will call their main branch and will settle my connection right away.

My internet connection is back now and I thought of transferring to different internet provider.arghs!

Connection was terminated, again!

Yes, you heard it right! My internet provider cut my internet connection for the fourth time.  I have not paid my internet bill last month for some reason.  I thought they will not cut it but they did.  The same thing they last time.  It pisses me off to be honest because they do not give grace period.  I didn’t know that they cut it until I opened my laptop last Friday night to do some updates on my blogs.  My mode to write was dead because of what happened.  The weather is bad yesterday and I do not want to go out but I do not have any choice but to go to my internet provider and settle my problem.

I settled my one month lapsed yesterday and my internet is back now.  I am glad that my mode to write is back and the idea I have in mind is still there.  Tonight, I am determined to update my blogs to give my readers a new post to read.  Hopefully I gain more traffic to my website by updating this regularly.  For the fourth time, I should have learned my lessons not to forget my internet connection obligation.  I should pay on time because my internet provider loves to cut my connection easy.arghs!

Back to normal now

I have been complaining of how slow my internet connection many times already.  I visited my internet provider as well and asked why my connection is very slow.  They have this Fair Use Policy that means if I reached 3GB in a day I will have slower browser speed.   Which I do not like because I have to wait till midnight to have my normal browsing speed.  It is really frustrating especially when I am doing my blog hop.  I cannot open multiple links because it will become slower.  Every time I am logging in  to my blogs it will took several attempts to finally log in.  This is the reason I seldom update my blogs because of my internet connection.  I do not like to open my laptop anymore and do my online stuffs because of the slow connection.

Last month was my worse internet connection problem.  They have new policy, when I reached 3GB in a month, my connection will be slower and will be back to normal the following month.  How worse is that?  I did not bother to visit my internet provider because they will give me the same reason.  The reason that I don’t really understand.  And I do not want to understand.     Why they have this Fair Use Policy?  Why not do something to accommodate and give their clients/customers the proper service?   Since I reached 3GB in 10 days last month, I waited for 20 long days to get back normal browsing.  I patiently waited even if I am angry.  This month my browsing speed is back to normal.  Should I be glad?  I don’t know because I have to watch my usage. arghs!

The Fair Use Policy

I have been in my internet provider for three years now. In those years, I do not have any issues with my internet access. I have unlimited access and the signal is good except for bad weather days. I am used to it when the weather is bad and I am able to adjust already. I am satisfied with my provider so I do not have any plans of transferring to another provider, until just recently. I have been receiving messages about their fair use policy. Instead of 3G browsing speed, they are shifting it to 2G when I reached 1GB data usage in a day.

It seems like I have limited internet access already because 2G is very slow for me. My browsing is kept on turning and even said, problem loading. Because of slow browsing speed, it will take me some time to finish my task online. I am planning to visit my internet provider and ask about this shifting browsing speed. Though I have read on the link they send to me about fair use policy, still I am not contended and understand why they have to do it. To me, instead of reducing it to be fair to all subscribers, why not increasing it for their customers’ sake and satisfaction, right?
