The Way of the Cross

Part of the catholic tradition during Lenten season is to have a procession called the way of the cross. We catholic do this in order for us to the sufferings of Jesus just to save us. It is a part of penitent for us to felt what Jesus felt on His way to save His people. We done this procession every good Friday.

This week is another Lenten season, and today is good Friday. My family used to participate this procession every year. Yes, indeed very tiring we start 3:00 in the morning and finish at around 9:30 in the morning. It was a long procession and long walk. Lot’s of people are participating, mostly are oldies one who used to join. Along with this long walk, we do pray the rosary and sing the songs of God. Though not all are paying attention, mostly the teenagers one, but it is a wonderful to see that lots are participating the long walk of procession.

Today, I woke up early to join the profession together with my brothers, nieces and friends. Starts at 3:30 am and end at 9:30 am. It was a long walk again, but felt great to participate again, the sufferings of Jesus just to save us. Thirsty, hungry, and very tiring. And I am so happy that I am able to finish the long walk again. Thanks to God.
